News for Vega Release 55

Zebrafish Annotation Updated

This large zebrafish release includes 3436 newly-annotated loci. 547 loci have been modified and 108 deleted. In addition 20 genes have been renamed. Of the clones included in the assembly, 78% have now been annotated, up from 62% previously.

Regular Zebrafish Updates

The Update gene set that has been in place for Human and Mouse for some time has been extended to Zebrafish. Specifically, this shows annotation that is either new or has been updated since the datafeeze date of 8th October.
