Zebrafish Annotation on GRCz10

Havana annotation of Zebrafish has been migrated onto the new GRCz10 genome assembly. The number of annotated genes has increased by around 1800. Chromosome U, which previously contained unplaced contigs, is no longer present.

Rat Annotation on Rnor6.0

Havana annotation of Rat has been migrated onto the new Rnor6.0 genome assembly. The number of annotated loci has increased to about 1600.

Update to Human annotation

This release of human Vega presents the regular updates to annotation and also an additional 600 annotated loci on the GRC patch regions.

Update to Pig annotation

This release of Vega has updated annotation on chromosome X-WTSI and a new assembly and annotation for chromosome Y-WTSI.
